Shushinkai North West is a professionally run karate school headed by Stephen Bolland. Steve is a 5th Dan black belt in Shito-ryu Karate-do, one of four major styles of traditional Japanese Karate now practiced world wide.
Together with his team of well trained black belt instructors Steve offers quality instruction for students aged 4 years and over. Our classes are structured and progressive whilst allowing each student to learn at their own pace.
Shushinkai North West Karate Academy is affiliated to the Shushinkai Institute of Shito-ryu Karate-Do, Karate England (the national governing body for English Karate) and Shito-Kai, the world wide governing body whose president is Soke Kenei Mabuni, son of Kenwa Mabuni founder of Shito-ryu Karate-do.
