Overall a good event. Not a lot of big time or big name fighters but the fights lived up to their billing.
Brandon Vera looked good through the first round but was admitedly weakend from the weight cut and noticeably fatigues in the later rounds.
Anderson Silva absolutely destroyed James Irvins face with a barage of punches after a knockdown and showed he is a man to be feared at any weight class.
I wanted to give props to Shannon Gugerty of San Diego on making to the big time and earning his first victory in the UFC.
Cain Velasquez looked great against Jake Obrien and would appear to have a great career ahead of him.
*Update* Can you believe that beautiful head kick by Rory Markam? OFG I stood up screaming.
