Chris Lytle Re-Signs With UFC

Date Added: July 16, 2008 08:11:57 PM
Author: Kelvin Hunt
Sam Caplan at 5ouncesofpain has the scoop:

"Welterweight veteran Chris Lytle has signed a four fight extension with the UFC"

"Lytle will return to the Octagon at UFC 89 on Oct. 18 at the NIA in Birmingham, England. While it has yet to be officially announced by the UFC, the report indicates that Lytle’s opponent is expected to be UK-native Paul Taylor."

Good for Lytle...he's a good fighter that's fought incredibly difficult opposition while in the UFC. His overall record is 4 wins and 8 losses with fights against Matt Hughes, Thiago Alves, Josh Koscheck, and Karo Parisyan just to name a few.

He's very difficult to finish and is a tough fight for anyone. He'll be a good measuring stick for anyone looking to solidfy themselves as a contender in the welterweight division.
