So I went out and made a bet with Luke Thomas of BloodyElbow today over the outcome of the Jens Pulver vs. Cub Swanson fight on tonight’s WEC card. The loser will have to give away two free weeks of advertising to the other.
I am hoping Swanson pulls off a late submission or a decision victory. MMAWeekly and Bloody Elbows own Jeff Comstock agree with me while Sherdog and Sam Caplan are choosing Pulver.
I think that Swansons speed will prevail as well as his ground game. Pulver is not getting any younger and this was proven by Joe Lauzon and BJ Penn. I see this fight going up and down from standing to the mat for the first two rounds with both fighters landing bombs. However Swanson will walk away victorious in the third when Little Evil succumbs to a rear naked choke. |
